Chris EksteinChris Ekstein, the CEO of Market Street Productions, is an award winning director of photography.  Chris grew up behind the camera lens; his mother is a fine art photographer with work at the MET and LACMA and his father, Luc Ekstein, was an acclaimed French fashion photographer.  Chris was the first American accepted into Rose Buford College of Speech and Drama in London.  After completing his BFA at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Chris worked as an assistant cameraman for Comedy Central’s hit show, Strangers with Candy starring Amy Sedaris and Stephen Colbert (Colbert Report).  His cinematography work in New York gained him acceptance into the MFA Cinematography fellowship at the American Film Institute.  At AFI, Chris received grants from Kodak and the Sloan Foundation for his 35mm thesis, executive produced by Boomer Esiason.  Chris has been the DP of award winning features such as Callous (Indie Fest-Best Picture), Mexican Sunrise (WorldFest Gold Award) starring Jordan Belfi (Entourage) and Armand Assante (American Gangster) and the theatrically released basketball documentary Gunnin For That #1 Spot (Tribecca Film Festival) with director Adam Yauch  (Beastie Boys).  In 2010, Chris won best cinematography at the American International Film Festival for his work on Big Bully Bank.  Chris is a member of IATSE Cinematography Guild and the Society of Camera Operators and a recipient of the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant.

Stacy EksteinStacy Ekstein produces commercials, episodic programming, documentary and narrative films. Her love for cinema grew when studying screenwriting in graduate school at Columbia University after receiving her BA in Writing and Psychology from Texas A&M University. She managed over ten million dollars as an executive at Van Heusen/IZOD in New York before moving to film production. Stacy has worked on projects with talents such as Jayne Lynch (Glee), Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under), Margaret Cho, Selena Gomez, Mark Boone (Batman of Night, Sons of Anarchy), Barry Williams (Brady Bunch) and John Schneider (Smallville, Desperate Housewives). As the managing partner of Market Street Productions in Venice, CA, she has developed television projects with companies such as JK Livin' (Matthew McConaughey's production company) and has two shows in development. She is attached to produce the feature, The Outlaw slated to shoot 2012. Stacy is a member of the Producer's Guild of America and the International Documentary Association. Stacy has a lifelong passion of studying and promoting the arts and has served on the board of the American Film Institute Associates.
